Date Of Service: Jun 2012 - Dec 2021

My name is Tionte Boggan, and my journey is a testament to a deep-seated commitment to my country and a newfound passion for innovation. My family's legacy of military service spans four generations, and it was a legacy I was determined to uphold.

I started my military journey during my high school years at McEachern High School, where I enrolled in the Navy Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program. Those three years instilled in me the values of leadership and discipline, which set the stage for my future service.

After graduating from high school, I wasted no time and enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 17. My journey began at Fort Jackson on June 12, 2012, where I underwent basic training, marking the official start of my military career. Following that, I was stationed at Fort Sill for Advanced Individual Training (AIT) to specialize in Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 13B.

But I was just getting started. The pursuit of challenges and opportunities led me to Fort Benning for airborne training, preparing me for the unique experiences that would come with being a part of the airborne forces.

My first duty station was at Fort Bragg, now known as Fort Liberty. There, I was assigned to the 2-319 Field Artillery Regiment (FAR), where we operated the formidable M119 howitzers and completed an impressive 36 jumps as part of the 82nd Airborne Division.

In 2015, I decided to transition from active duty and joined the Georgia National Guard, continuing my service to our nation. I was stationed with the 1-214th FAR, where I continued to grow and learn as a soldier.

One of the defining moments in my military career came in 2019 when I deployed to Afghanistan. The challenges were immense, but I faced them with unwavering courage. For my bravery in the face of adversity, I was awarded the prestigious Combat Action Badge.

Upon returning from my deployment, my journey took a new turn. In 2019, I was redeployed to Brownsville, Texas, a city that would play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of my life. It was here that I transitioned from military service to an entrepreneurial endeavor focused on innovation and environmental responsibility.

In 2021, I founded GreenZone, an innovative recycling and fintech business. Our concept was unique – we rewarded individuals with cryptocurrency for their recycling efforts. This venture aimed to promote eco-conscious behavior and contribute to technological advancement in an ever-evolving world.

My story is a testament to the adaptability of military skills and values, the pursuit of progress, and a dedication to making a positive impact on the environment and the community I now call home. From military service to a leadership role in the fintech and recycling industry, my journey showcases the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
