About Us
For Annette Shoemaker-Kohberger, serving military members, veterans, and their families is more than a real estate specialty—it is a commitment rooted in a lifelong connection to the military community.
Raised in southern New Mexico near Holloman Air Force Base, Annette grew up surrounded by active-duty Airmen and military families. With family members who served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, she developed an early appreciation for the sacrifices, frequent relocations, and unique challenges associated with military life.
Annette earned her Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification to strengthen her ability to assist service members, veterans, and their families with homeownership and relocation. Approximately 40% of her clients have been military or military-affiliated.
Serving the Las Vegas Valley, including communities surrounding Nellis Air Force Base and Creech Air Force Base, Annette helps military clients navigate PCS relocations, local and long-distance purchases, residential sales, new construction, and virtual transactions.
Her experience includes assisting clients who are stationed or temporarily assigned overseas. In one transaction, Annette helped a military client purchase a Southern Nevada home while the client was on temporary duty in Saudi Arabia. Through virtual tours, electronic documents, ongoing communication, and local coordination of inspections, appraisal, negotiations, and contract deadlines, the home successfully closed before the client arrived in Nevada.
Annette also has working knowledge of the VA homebuying process, and works closely with experienced VA lenders to ensure clients receive current financing guidance.
Her professional education also includes certifications in new construction, negotiation, listing representation, buyer representation, marketing, and veteran-focused real estate.
Annette’s commitment to service extends beyond real estate. She has hosted American Red Cross blood drives, organized donation drives benefiting Baby’s Bounty, and is planning a Pet Appreciation Event inspired by her love of animals.
Whether helping a military family relocate across town, across the country, or from overseas, Annette’s goal remains the same: provide knowledgeable guidance, responsive communication, trusted resources, and personalized service so her clients can make confident decisions wherever military life takes them.
